Granite Countertops in Los Angeles
Handpicked from quarries in Brazil, India, and Italy — fabricated and installed by LA Countertop Inc. Granite's timeless beauty and rugged durability make it a top choice for Los Angeles kitchens, bathrooms, and other high-use surfaces.
Every slab has its own movement, mineral pattern, and natural character. We help you select the right granite, fabricate it in-house, and install it with precision.
No Two Slabs Are Alike — That’s the Point
Granite is an igneous rock formed deep within the earth over millions of years. Each slab carries the geological fingerprint of its origin — a pattern, a vein, and a mineral structure that exists nowhere else. When you choose granite from LA Countertop Inc., you're choosing a surface that is naturally unique.
Beyond its natural beauty, granite is one of the hardest materials used for countertop fabrication. It stands up well to daily use, resists scratching, tolerates heat, and holds its finish for years with basic care.

Granite Countertop FAQs
Is granite heat resistant?
Yes. Granite is naturally heat resistant and handles normal kitchen heat very well. We still recommend using trivets to help protect the sealer and reduce long-term wear.
Does granite need to be sealed?
Yes. Granite should be sealed to help prevent staining and maintain its finish. We seal granite at installation and recommend resealing based on the stone type and how heavily the surface is used.
How does granite compare to quartz?
Granite is a natural stone, so every slab is different. Quartz is engineered and more consistent in appearance. Granite offers natural movement and character, while quartz offers a more uniform look with lower maintenance.
How much do granite countertops cost in Los Angeles?
Granite countertop pricing depends on the slab, edge profile, cutouts, layout, and installation conditions. Contact us for a quote based on your exact project.
Can I choose my exact slab?
Yes. We recommend choosing your exact slab whenever possible so you can see the movement, color variation, and overall character before fabrication.
